I still remember years ago when I first began to play tennis, the tip you heard the most was 'keep your head still.' My dad used to say this if you ask me at the very least 50 times a round. He thought he was doing me a favor,when really, he should have been telling me to do the exact opposite. He should have been saying 'move your mind a little on the road back.'

Why move your face as you get the team straight back? Because in order to swing in a circular movement you need an axis to swing around you want to move your face. An axis has a top and a base. When you setup to the basketball, you've 1 top to an axis (your face) and 2 soles (your legs and feet) to an axis. This means that on your way back your face must be going 3 - 5 inches to the proper in order to build your first axis to swing around. Your mind will remain there as you come down and fall even more straight back through influence. Then, following the ball has been hit, your face will progress over the top of left knee to create a second axis. This second axis will allow you to perform the circular turn in your golf swing allowing you to finish your swing. What exactly you've is just a floating top to an axis. Your mind drifts back and forth to generate 2 axis once you move. This allows one to move in a circular movement. It is not really a perfect circle nevertheless. It is a small oval. Because your swing is a small oval, you'll never hit the ball 100% great.

The sole time you would keep your mind still is if you'd one leg. You'd have 1 top and 1 bottom to an axis, if you'd one leg. This means that if you moved your mind you'd destroy this axis. Therefore perhaps we should all be playing keeping our head still and sitting on one leg? Unfortuitously, this will never work because you'll not produce enough power and you'll probably fall over. A lot of people have enough trouble keeping their balance with 2 legs never mind 1 so it is best that you keep both legs on the ground and figure out how to move your head. Most people I teach attempt to move their head back when I tell them to but they have trouble really doing it because it feels so unpleasant for them to move their head. You should feel like your mind is going about 1 foot to-the right, to get the proper feeling. Beware that it might cause you going to behind the ball just a little, as you move your face back. This is a good sign in the beginning. It's telling you that you're moving your head back but you have too much weight in your right foot at impact. All you've got to do is feel a little more weight switch from your right foot through influence, to remedy reaching behind the ball (fat photographs). You will hit the ball properly and with a lot more energy than you're used to, if you do.
